Although a user account is not required to post to these message boards, there are many advantages to becoming a registered member. 1. Its FREE. 2. Email notification of new posts. 3. Creation of a member profile. 4. Immediate inclusion of your posts (Non-registered posts are placed in a waiting queue for approval by a moderator - registered members can post automatically without the need for prior approval) 5. Private messaging between members is available, to allow communication between members who don't want to make their email addresses known publicly. 6. Saved viewing and posting privileges, plus MUCH MORE... Those who wish to register must complete our new registration form, even if you already had an account on the old message boards. Registration is by postal mail only. No emailed or faxed versions of this form can be accepted. Due to the nature of Internet bulletin board discussions, and because of past problems with libellous and/or slanderous material being posted to the boards, we have had no choice but to implement this new registration process. It will require you to sign your acceptance that you will (1) respect all Casebook copyrights, (2) agree not to slander, libel or defame any person, group or corporation, and (3) agree not to hold the Casebook responsible in any way, whatsoever, for any perceived slander, libel or defamation found on the site. We also require your full name and address, which we will not share with any third parties whatsoever, simply as a means of confirming your identity. Once this form is completed and mailed to us, we will send you your username and password, and you will be able to participate on the boards exactly as you have in the past. Registration forms are available in the following formats: HTML - http://www.casebook.org/images/terms.htm WORD DOC - http://www.casebook.org/images/terms.doc RTF - http://www.casebook.org/images/terms.rtf ASCII TXT - http://www.casebook.org/images/terms.txt Completed forms must be mailed to: Stephen P. Ryder Box #107 265 Turkeysag Trail Suite 102 Palmyra, VA 22963 U.S.A. Please contact spryder@casebook.org if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support, Stephen P. Ryder, Editor Casebook: Jack the Ripper
