Hi, Dave:

J. K. Stephen is the rather excitable looking young man with florid cheeks (as I imagine) and wide dark tie.

I also noticed that James Maybrick's picture is
appearing on one of the background screens. If
I may suggest, possibly Florence should be added
in the distance.

Just to say that I have gotten my proper use
name now. So, I'm back in the system.

All:

Yes, the Dr. Baden clip found on the Autopsy website is dedicated for use at that site. Neat, concise little clip, re the Ripper's impact on the development of modern-day forensics techniques and personnel. Plus, a nice kudo to Casebook at the end.

And Dr. Baden, of course, is charming (if not 100% accurate) as usual.

Cheers,

G'day,

Hey Stephen, couldn't we have a 2nd 'Suspects rating scale' on the message boards, so we can compare the views of general Casebook visitors, to the educated views of those who study the case?

Hi everyone! I love the site and all the good info. I just have one suggestion. Can we get someone to go back through the Victims and Suspects sections and proofread everything. There are alot of typos and a few instances of confusing wording. I know this is nitpicking to some extent. But the site is so great, it'd be nice if it was perfect. :-)

Hi Leanne

Just caught your post on seperate sites for the 'educated' posters and the visitors to the the site. This is just a tad elitist don't you think.

Best Regards
Gary

G'day Gary,

I just thought it would be interesting for US, (who have studied the case), to see and compare 'favourite suspects'. Understand?

Hi. Leanne

Oh, I understand your point alright. I just want to make sure casual visitors and semi-frequent visitors feel welcome and consider hanging around.

People will always be swayed by the latest theories and those that get the newspaper ink. But if they stick around they may ultimately make valuable contributions. I don't believe there is such a thing as a stupid question if it results in greater insight.

I can remember falling for the Masonic conspiracy theory when I was a teenager. If the casebook had been available in 1976 I would have been quickly disabused of that notion. Whether you've studied the case for thirty years or three years of serious inquiry you can be on the same footing as far as insight and the value of your opinions are concerned.

All The Best
Gary

Stephen,

Not sure where to put this. I don't know if it's just my computer but this website has gone a bit fuzzy. I've tried other sites and they are ok. Just letting you know.

Not sure what you mean by "fuzzy" - can you send me a screenshot of what you're seeing (hold down ALT and PRINT SCREEN buttons at the same time, then paste it into an email). Site seems normal to me.

You may want to increase the font size on your computer? In Internet Explorer, click VIEW > TEXT SIZE > LARGEST. That may help.
