Polly was found near the gates leading into a yard which was behind the buildings that opened onto Whitechapel Road, yes? Am I correct in this thinking?

[It's been a month or so since I've gone over Ripper work other than the Ripperologist so my mind may be a tad fuzzy (I'm at work right now so I dont have a lot of time to look things up)]

Does anyone know what was in the yard? Did many buildings use this yard? Is it possible Polly was killed inside the yard and brought out in something like a wheelbarrow, laid down, THEN cut up?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Come on people, nobody knows this? I find it hard to believe.

I looked through every Ripper book I own last night , and could find no mention of the content of the yard.

Does anyone know anything about it?

Kris. Polly was found in the gateway to a stables. The gates were locked, so the answer to the other question is no.

Three of the victims (if you include Stride) were murdered in the close proximity of gates.

Gates, the other side of which would provide good concealment from the street.

Were Nichols, Stride and Eddowes, using these venues regulary to service their clients?
