Guys,

Spotted this in the local rag the other week. Colin Wilson caught my eye. Sorry but I forgot to slap it on here.

For anyone who is interested....

Hi Monty

Many thanks for this. Having read about the Moors Murders through the book Beyond Belief by Emlyn Williams, this snippet proved very interesting.

As the article states, "To the rest of us, Ian Brady is evil incarnate, the merciless sadist who tortured and murdered children with his sick partner in crime, Myra Hindley, before dumping their bodies in shallow graves on Saddleworth moorland."

. . . And I definitely then found it chilling to read about Colin Wilson's spooky relationship with Ian Brady--

"To Leicester-born author Wilson, he became 'Dear Ian' during their decade of correspondence, a confidante who was told to 'take care' before he signed-off with 'warm regards'.

"'I felt an early rapport with him,' says Wilson. 'It was almost as if he was my younger brother.'"

Brrrrr..... sad

All the best

Chris

Genuinely with - obviously - no intention of flippancy, I pity the actress they are going to use to play Hindley. Knowing how people react to actors who play soap villains, I can see nutters giving her a hard time.

I know what you mean, Philip. There are some real morons out there with a warped sense of justice. Some poor paediatrician was targeted because some thugs got it into their thick heads that the official 'Paediatrician' sign outside his practice actually meant 'paedophile'! As if it would pay to advertise...

Love,

Caz

Hello parties,

I've been hoping for a pic on this case. I was afraid we'd have to wait for old Ian to check into Hell before it could get done. I'd say either Tim Roth or Sean Bean for Ian and perhaps Courtney Love or Cate Blanchett for Myra.

Goodies,

Stan
