Reading Mr. Evans & Skinner's excellent book, 'The Ultimate Jack the Ripper Companion', I wonder if the City Police Suspect, described in Thompson's Weekly News on the retirement of Det. Cox, has ever been identified. It seems as if he should be easy to pinpoint with the great amount of information included in the article, re. living in the heart of the Jewish district, owning his own shop, etc...
Has anyone else posted on this subject, before I go off hunting the possible identity of this suspect?
And, yes, I do think it's a garbled version of the Cohen/Kasminski theory, but I just want to be certain before dismission it.
Thanks all!

My own instincts tell me that the suspect is Kosminski, but that is only assumption.
Is mise le meas,
