This compendium, similar to Camille Wolff's Who Was Jack the Ripper?, contains a number of chapters by different authors, each providing a unique perspective on the case. There are fewer submissions than in Wolff's, and many important viewpoints are not represented, but as a whole it remains an overall worthwhile read.
