Hennell

A young butcher named, Hennell, committed suicide by cutting his throat from ear to ear. The incident happened at his parents home at 76 Enfield Buildings, Ashford Street, Hoxton. He had repeatedly expressed a fear that they were after him for the Whitechapel murder. His parents, worried about his behaviour, had began to watch him closely for the last few days. The first instance his mother left the room, he cut his throat. The date of his suicide 17 September 1888 rules him out of any involvement in the Ripper murders.
