Casebook Review:

Kathy Mar is well-known in the "filk" industry - an interesting sort of mix between folk music and science-fiction/fantasy. "Song of the Ripper" is a dark look at the Ripper himself. Its a fine song, but it doesn't have the power or cleverness of others on the same CD, such as "Merlin" or "Dirty Movie." Recommended.
