Exact text unknown, but reported in American press on 29 June 1891 with very little detail.
Apparently a "warning" letter from Jack the Ripper, received by a vigilance committee in Whitechapel. Warns of another murder, says it is the duty of the police to catch him - though he will never be taken alive. Claims he was nearly caught twice. Warns that if the chairman attempts to track him he will knife him in the heart.
One paper adds that the author is concerned the police will not find his victim, and is worried that someone is attempting to divert attention from the Old Shakespeare murder trial in New York.
