Not The Work of the Ripper

London, Oct. 25.
Medical experts have made careful examination of the body of the woman who last night was murdered in an alley in South Hampstead. Examination shows the murder to have been committed in a manner not characteristic of "Jack the Ripper", and also negatives the suggestion that the victim was of the Whitechapel type, which has thus far furnished Ripper's prey. The body, which is that of a woman apparently about 30 years of age, was clad in material the texture and cut of which indicated the wearer had been a person of some refinement.
