A Woman Murdered by Strangulation

London, Dec. 22.
The body of a woman, name unknown, has been found in the streets of Poplar in the suburbs of London. An empty vial was found alongside the body. The impression first formed was that the woman had committed suicide, but at the coroner's inquest the physicians who examined the body testified that there was no sign of poison in the stomach. The belief is that the woman was murdered by strangulation. the condition of the body justified this belief. There was a mark on the neck which showed that a small cord had been tightly tied round it. The woman was of low character. When the body was found it was still warm, lying in the open street. Many person believe her murderer to be identical with the Whitechapel fiend who has adopted a new method to dispose of his victims.
