Mr. Knatchbull-Hugessen, M.P., delivered a humorous speech, telling his hearers how the Gladstonians did it at Rochester, and said that when they thought of the Irish question they must not forget Pigott. He said if Jack the Ripper were known he believed it would be found that he was a trusted and prominent member of the Tory Cabinet. (Laughter and cheers.)
