THE WHITECHAPEL MURDERS

London, Oct. 20.
At the inquest on late victim of the Whitechapel tragedies, Dr. Baber stated that there is every reason to believe that the murders were perpetrated for the purpose of obtaining specimens of portions of the human body. The murders, in his opinion, were not the work of a lunatic, but a medical student, who knew exactly where to find the organ wanted. The wounds on the body were no meaningless cuts. This statement applied to all the victims.
