Below is a table listing the dates of all eleven Whitechapel murder inquests, along with the dates on which they were reported in the local press. Although some original inquest records remain intact, many are known today only by transcripts found in the contemporary press reports, in papers such as the Daily Telegraph and the London Times. Other newspapers also covered the inquests, providing numerous new facts and, at times, a multitude of discrepancies.
