Hi all,

..especially those I don't know having been away from the boards for some little time but glad to see that Yaz, Caz, and many other great names are still given good account... Hi Caz, still breathing, Hi Yaz, it must be years, may the snow be less this winter.

I did however wonder, peeping through the Mail of the last days, where poor Jack is. Our Star seems to have been forgotten of late in the cut-and-thrust of debate. Jack his ghost is no doubt grinding its teeth at us all and demanding a ghoul-internet connection to protest. From the tone of some of the board communications, however, I could believe that old Nick would smugly refuse.

Best regards to all,

Bob

Hi Bobby!

Lovely to see you back old bean. Is Goosey Goosey still honking, or have you had him for dinner with honey and ginger sauce?

Perhaps he is giving Jack indigestion as we speak as he tucks into a nise bit of goose liver and fried kidney down below? Jack is, after all, taking a longer than usual summer holiday this year - he's had an annus horribilis and decided to do a gastronomic tour of hell to raise his spirits...

Perhaps he'll raise ours when he gets back here, eh?

Loads of love,

Caz

Hi Caz, my dear.

That Goosey the duck-goose is still honking loudly (usually at 4.00 a.m. and just outside my windows) and not been turned into roast breast with ginger etc. suprises me more and more, the Germans being so very well known for eating almost anything. Let us be kind and repeat the word 'almost'.

What the hell.. (will other borders now ask) has Guck to do with Jack?

Nothing.

I will raise my spirits this evening in your honour...

Love,

Bob
