Gregory,

Good question... I've had a good think about this one.

1. (like David) Who are you and why did you do this?

2. Where were you in October 1888?

3. Were any other people involved or were you alone in this and when did you actually stop and why?

Perhaps more than 3 but afterwards I'd probably chin him one too.

take care
Garry

I wouldn't bother to ask any questions of Jack if he were face to face with me today. Dead men tell no tales.

Now if there were some magic genie that was forced to give truthful answers about Jack the Ripper (and only Jack the Ripper, if the topic was wide open I'd have more important things to ask), that's another situation entirely.

1) What is the full legal name, nickname, address(es), and birthday of the killer or killers responsible for the deaths of every individual named on the Casebook.org website as a potential victim of the serial killer known as Jack the Ripper?

2) What specific, detailed steps did the killers take to select each victim, perform the murders, escape the scene and relive the experiences later?

3) What would be the most efficient way for me to independently confirm as much of the information you've already told me by using historical records and other currently-available evidence?

Dan

1. How did you get to be so wise?

2. How did you get to be so clever?

3. How were you able to commit such interesting murders, and escape detection?

*he looks down*
*finger moves up to slap his face*

"Gotcha!!" :)
and then of course..."Pull my finger"

1. Same as Harry if mediums are all they claim to be anyone connected with the case could solve the problem on daytime TV in an instant. There are many mediums to choose from!

2. Was any part of your mind rational and compassionate enough to feel guilty at what you were doing to women whose only crime was poverty.

3. If there is any sort of afterlife are you shunned there. I certainly hope so!

1) "would you mind magically appearing before Patricia Cornwell after you've finished your magical appearance with me??"

Harry

How on earth did you know that I've been trying to avoid John Edwards? It's a work thing, we don't see eye to eye.

As someone who isn't even in the slightest bit religious I would be interested in the view of those of any faith whatsoever as to whether or not their God would forgive Jack his sins.

Could you forgive Jack?

The Bible says, "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures."

God does forgive. He does this because when The Lord Jesus died on the cross He volunteered to take our punishment for us. God is very kind but also just. His character is such that He does not just brush aside what we do. Instead He decided to inflict the punishment on Himself.

Because of the sacrifice of Christ anyone (even JTR) who trusts in Him for their salvation will be saved. That is the meaning of the hymn "Amazing Grace". The author was stunned by the magnitude of God's love in sending His Son to die and God's mercy in extending pardon to the most depraved.

I have raised the point on these boards before that it is just possible that JTR quit because he found salvation in Christ.

The Bible also says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Not one of us (me included) has a perfectly clean slate. Everyone needs to be (spiritually) washed.

Interesting match up: Reg Christie did get hanged,
but he succeeded in having an apparently innocent
man get legally murdered by the state. I doubt
Jack did that.

1) Did the events of 1888, especially November
8/9, 1888 effect your eating habits or your
sleeping habits?

2) If none of the above are you, who would you
prefer to be you: Cream, Deeming, Chapman, Mary
Pearcey, H.H.Holmes, Theo Durrant, Bury, Druitt, Kosminski, Osrog, Stephen, Gull, Sickert, Netley,
Gissing, Carroll, the Duke of Clarence, "Dr. Stanley", ....

3) What would you think about a female serial
killer who went around castrating and mutilating
"Johns" in ghetto areas of large Victorian cities?

Jeff
