I looked and found information about Joseph Isenschmid.

"I called at Fairfield Road Bow Infirmary Asylum where 'Isenschmid' is still detained. I saw the Medical Superintendent who informed me that 'Isenschmid' had told him that the girls at holloway had called him 'Leather Apron' and that he had said to them in the way of chaff I am 'Leather Apron'"

Also...

"he is belived to be identical with the man seen in the Prince Albert P.h., on the morning of the Annie Chapman murder"

Plus...

"Although at present we are unable to connect him with the murders he appears to be the most likely person that has come under our notice to have commited the crimes, and every effort will be made to account for his movements on the dates in question"

Dear Ashleah,

Most interesting though I feel you need to include
the source from which you quote...otherwise Rosey
is confused. What line of thought are you following in this respect?
Rosey :-)
