i am a student for law and history from the hebrew university in jerusalem. i am writing an article about how the case of jack the ripper can reflect the social condition, between the east end and the west end in london at that time. if some one have any ideas about the subject or any sources it would be great to know about it.
my e-mail adress is: n_gdaliahu@hotmail.com

Nadav,
May I suggest that you first click on the word Topics in the green panel on the left of your screen. Then navigate down the chain, through General Discussion, then Miscellaneous and then Social Conditions for Prostitutes. That topic gave some useful book and web references where you can find information about social conditions. It also listed some pointers to some other discussion boards, not all of which can be reached in the same way. As is explained though, you can still read those discussions by locating them with the Keyword Search option (also in the green panel). Good hunting.
Regards, V.
