Here is an account of a killing in Duval Street (former Dorset Street) in 1960

Incidentally nobody was ever convicted of this murder,although a man called Johnny Nash was charged with GBH(on a dead man!!!) and received 5 years imprisonment.Its thought witness intimidation led some of the witnesses to change their statements.
