Hi. I have been going nuts - and driving my local reference librarians nusts - trying to find a copy of L. Forbes Winslow's Recollections of 40 Years, Being an Account at First Hand of Some Famous Criminal Lunacy Cases . . . I can't seem to find it ANYWHERE! They did a national search and only one lending library in the United States has this book - and, unfortunately, they won't lend it out, as I'm out of state. I've also checked antique dealers and out-of-print/antique book sellers for this book, and have come up with nothing. Would really appreciate any help that y'all could offer me on obtaining a copy of this material. Thanks everyone!

There are two copies of this book currently on the antiquarian market - one for $280 and the other for just over $300. Its a rare one.

Speaking of hard-to-find Ripper books, we've just today put up some new and very rare titles on the Casebook bookstore at http://casebook.org/booksale/

All proceeds directly benefit the Casebook - thank you for your support!

Just thought I'd let you know that we are to release the final 200 copies of our limited reprint of Edwin T. Woodhall's book 'Jack the Ripper or When London Walked in Terror' . Many Ripper enthusiasts will remember that back in 1997 we printed a facsimile Limited Edition of 500 copies, each one numbered, but what most don't know is that at the time we only released 300 copies. We have decided to release the rest of the printing, ie 200 copies, all of which are numbered and will become equally rare. These can be bought for the original UK price of £10 each, plus postage and packing of £2 per book. I have noticed that copies of those released in '97 have since doubled in price!

Anyone interested in getting a copy can contact me direct if they wish, as these will not be available through any bookshops.
