I'm trying to identify a Saucy Jacky film that I saw long years ago on TV, as a child. I was no older than 8 then - probably around 6 or 7, more likely - and so I really cannot remember anything about it other than one short scene in which the Ripper was apprehended...
I can't recall anything about the plot, and, as I said, the only thing that I really do remember is that the protagonist(s) of the film caught and unmasked Jack in the end - and I think it happened in some sort of a barn, after a dramatic chase (which *could* have been a coach chase, some foggy memories tell me...). Something also tells me that upon unmasking Jacky, the pursuers were shocked - and they *could* have exclaimed something along the lines of "It's Prince Edward!". Additionally, it *may* have been a Sherlock Holmes movie, which would make Jack's pursuers and unmaskers Holmes and Watson, but I'm not sure about it (I loved Holmes since my earliest years, so my memory may be mixing two subjects). I found two titles of films in which Holmes and Jack met (Study in Terror and Murder by Decree), but since I only remember one snippet of one scene and I'm not even sure if it really was a film with Holmes, I can't even guess if "my" film is one of those two...
So, does this particular moment rring any bells with anyone? A scene of the Ripper being caught, unmasked and identified, possibly in a remote location, with the hero(es) being horrified by his identity?
