I finally got around to reading my library's copy of this book. It is worth reading. I don't think Harrison's theory is convincing, but the book is a good biography of Eddy and does show that Stowell's man could not have been the Prince.

I am reading a book called Jack The Ripper by Colin Wilson & Robin Odell it is a summing up of the verdict, it is very interesting reading, this murderer was not a working man as he wore a light grey waistcoat and button shoes, one of the gentry as we would call men of position in those day's. That is not to say he was royalty but he was a man of some standing, there were so many mistakes by the police.
For instance if they had used blood hounds after the murder of Mary Anne Kelly they would have had some success in catching this man,but they were never used. Why?
