I am in search of a source for quality, full size paper copies (or digital with full resolution) of the 1888 and 1894 ordinance maps of the Whitechapel area, as seen in a portion of the Casebook site, but without all of the murder site labels, etc... just the original maps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

All the best

Samantha,

There is a pretty good one on the 3rd or 4th page of Philip Sudgen's book entitled The Complete History of Jack the Ripper. I'm not sure if it is linked on the Casebook somewhere but I would be surprised if it weren't. It is a small black and white overview of the streets in Whitechapel, marking the murder scenes and names of each victim. It includes the canonical 5 and some others. It could be of some use to you.
