I came across this 'Saunders' in 'The Life of Sir Howard Vincent' when Saunders is introduced to Vincent by Labouchere, a friend of Saunders; and obviously Sir Howard Vincent also becomes friendly with Saunders.
Saunders actually specialised in the robbing of prostitutes 'in the most heartless manner' and had served seven years for such offences when he met Labouchere and Vincent.
Anyone else heard of this bod?
