Hi all,
I'm a lurker for the most part, but I wonder if those of you living in London could recommend some really good pubs serving real ales. We arrive in early July for ten days and will be staying at The Montague in Bloomsbury. I understand The Museum Tavern is a bit touristy, but serves ales. I'd love to find pubs serving good food as well, but that's not nearly as important.

We're definitely going on the Londonwalks Ripper tour (done it before, but who cares?) with Rumbelow!!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Cheers!
