THE MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

Carnarvon - In the eastern ward Messrs. Owen Thomas and Richard Thomas were re-elected. In the western ward Mr. O.O. Roberts was nominated an independent candidate against the return of Dr. John Williams, Messrs. R. Williams, T. Williams, and R.H. Owen, but eventually withdrew.
