The counsel of Carl Feigenbaum, the murderer who was executed at Sing Sing this week, is said to have made the interesting statement that he believed this man to have been Jack the Ripper, whose butcheries in White Chapel, London, created such a sensation. It appears that Feigenbaum confessed to the lawyer that he had a mania for killing and mutilating women, and it has been ascertained that he was in London when the murders above referred to were committed. The story seems probable enough. At any rate it is a good thing that the man has been disposed of.
