ANOTHER TERRIBLE MURDER OF A BOY
HORRIBLE MUTILATION

A boy named John Gill, aged eight years, was found brutally murdered and mutilated in an outhouse in Thorncliffe Road, Bradford, this morning.

LATER - The murder of the little boy at Bradford is of a peculiarly atrocious character. He was last seen sliding with a number of boys on Thursday night. The body was found at seven o'clock this morning. Both legs were cut off close to the body; the abdomen was slit open and the intestines partially extracted; both ears were cut off; the legs were tied to the body. There were other shocking mutilations. Great excitement prevails. No arrests. The police refuse any information.

LATEST - Later details from Bradford show the body was even more shockingly mutilated than reported in previous messages. The lad's arms were hacked off and his heart torn out. The police believe the crime was committed by drunken lads desirous of emulating the Whitechapel murderer. The body was probably removed to an out-house after the murder had been committed elsewhere.
