Not Charged to Jack the Ripper

London, Dec. 24.
The scene of the latest East End murder is two miles further east than that of the tragedies known as the Whitechapel murders, and the killing is not now believed to have been the work of the perpetrator of the previous crime. The strangling was done with surprising skill, but the cord with which it was done was not found on the body on its arrival at the hospital as previously reported, thus weakening the certainty that the method surmised was really employed.
