Coroner Schultz and jury announced this evening their verdict that Ameer Ben Ali, otherwise Frenchy No. 1, was guilty of the murder of Carrie Brown, otherwise Shakespeare, in the East River Hotel on the 24th of April. The witnesses have been for the most part from the slums of the Fourth Ward or from Queen's County jail.
