THE DAY'S POLICE
IN THE HABIT OF THRASHING HER.

Clara Fitzgerald, a married woman, of 6, Hahn-street, Commercial-road, Whitechapel, appeared in the witness-box at the Thames Police-court, to-day. She charged her husband, John Fitzgerald, with assaulting her. She said he beat her with a broom, caught her by the hair of her head, and punched her in the face. He was in the habit of thrashing her. -The prisoner was bound over to keep the peace.
