Please correct, through the columns of your widely circulated paper, the late statement of the Associated Press dispatch to the effect that Mrs. James Maybrick, arrested for poisoning her husband in Liverpool, was a niece or in any way related to our former chief, Jefferson Davis. Mts. Maybrick, her father and mother and her antecedents are all known personally to INFORMANT
