Ed Gein -- seen loitering in victims shop shortly before she disappeared

David Berkowitz -- he got a traffic ticket near a crime scene. A witness saw his car ticketed and he was traced.

Ted Bundy -- a cop saw the license plate on the stolen car he was driving.

John Wayne Gacy -- A boy told Mom to wait because Mr. Gacy was going to interview him for a job. He would be right back. He wasn't right back. Mom pursued.

Jeffrey Dahmer -- a victim escaped and led police to Dahmer's apartment.

In each case a witness was involved. I would love to think that DNA or profiling was the instrument but in fact -- no.}
