I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else, so I thought I'd post it in case anyone is interested. Apparently there is a new biography of M J Druitt out. It is by D J Leighton and is titled 'Montague Druitt - Portrait of a Contender'. This presumably expands on the article that the same author wrote for Ripperologist (issue 46).
The only reference I've seen to the book is in a free newspaper called the 'Avon Advertiser' which ran a brief article in its December 29 issue.
To order a copy, price £15, call Hydrangea Publishing (in the UK) on 0208 944 7144

Hi David

Thanks for that. We're discussing this on the Druitt death certificate thread.

I just broke down and ordered my copy today at about US $45 with shipping!!! Luckily, I remembered some extra cash I had received as Christmas gifts.

I found my copy on amazon.co.uk. Probably could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere. Supposed to arrive here sometime in March (I kid you not!).

I'm actually preparing to be disappointed but, who knows, I might be surprised! I can always re-sell it.

I got a copy - couldn't resist it. Haven't read it yet, but flicked through and was slightly perturbed to see the author quotes from Abberline's diaries!

My copy was shipped yesterday, finally! I should have it in a week or so.
