The Ripperologist (know thyself)
Jon Smyth

Aint we all a sorry lot
we do the best with what we've got.
2nd hand, 3rd hand, 4th hand source
armchair justice we endorse.

And all join in a free debate
on friendly terms .....assassinate.
While others argue, "can't you see ?...."
.......we all agree, to disagree.

And what we'd give to leave these seats
go back in time and walk those streets.
And with our theories, hunt that prey
........could we have caught him anyway ?

..................yours truly, Jon Smyth.

PS. I have been known to ramble in verse,
I hope I made you smile, .....not curse.
